“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
This familiar quote sums up how Harold Pergler feels about his audiology practice. It has become something of a mission statement for Bountiful Hearing Center.
Harold is passionate about helping people and his desire to serve and assist others with their hearing needs is always first and foremost on his mind. He has spent most of his life in the pursuit of helping people communicate more successfully.
Harold has received national recognition for his continual education in audiology and is always pursuing the latest technology. His cutting-edge approach is matched only by the excellent services he offer. His formal education is as follows:
- Graduated from Brigham Young University in August 1977 with a Bachelor of Science.
- Graduated from Brigham Young University in December 1979 with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders.
- Received a Certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology in December 1982.
- Became a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology in May 1991.
He is also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
In addition, our audiology staff adheres to the highest standards of customer service, while offering only the best technology available.
The value we offer is not only in our devices but how we meet your needs and expectations. At every price point, our technology delivers exceptional value for your investment.
Laurie Pergler is enthusiastic and passionate about the work she does here at Bountiful Hearing Center. She loves our patients, and they love her. She is your advocate in this office, as she goes out of her way to help patients avoid the added cost and inconvenience of sending hearing aids out for repair.
Laurie’s training and knowledge in audiology and speech pathology, combined with her many years of experience, give her the special title of “miracle worker.” She has been known to bring many dead hearing devices back to life.
Laurie is not only Harold’s extra set of hands, but also the love of his life. They are lovingly dedicated to their four children and 16 grandchildren who live all over the world. Laurie enjoys a good detective or mystery novel for relaxation, and she loves to quilt and sew. She has always enjoyed getting to know new people, and she would love to get to know you!
Debbie Twitchell has been with the Bountiful Hearing Center for five years and is our go-to person for all things insurance, billing and finance. She works tirelessly to help our patients take full advantage of their insurance benefits and answer their billing questions.
Debbie proudly claims BYU as her alma mater where she received her degree in business administration and finance. She is fun-loving, compassionate and caring to all she meets.
Debbie enjoys working out, walking each morning and going to the gym with her husband in the evenings. Her love of tennis, pickle ball, reading and movie theatre popcorn (with a movie!) come second only to her beautiful granddaughter and her four wonderful children. They are her proudest accomplishments.
Sammy J. Randels
Ogden-born fellow Utahn Sammy J. Randels is our resident front end coordinator, responsible for administrative duties and ensuring the Bountiful Hearing Center continuum of care starts off on the right path beginning from a patient’s first phone call.
Equipped with an associate’s degree in integrated studies from Utah Valley University, and currently pursuing another degree in psychology, she worked as an administrative assistant for six years before joining the field of audiology.
Living all over Utah and Northern Arizona before settling down with her husband here in Davis County, when not tending to front end patient needs, Sammy can be found reading, painting, gaming, or perfecting her hidden talent—singing.
